What happened when I started Vaping CBD Oil.

I have been struggling with Autoimmune diseases most of my life.
Pain is something I live with on a daily basis. I never know what is going to hurt when I wake up or what is going to work.
Some days I can hike for miles, some days my legs/feet decide to be of no use.

For years I tried to get help. I have seen dozens of doctors and none could offer me any real help. If anything every time I stepped foot in a doctors office I felt worse. So after a few years of doing my own research, I finally decided it is time to try and heal through holistic treatment.

It has been 3 months since I ditched the doctors and threw out ALL prescribed meds.
So far all I have really done is change my diet. That alone has been a HUGE help. I’ll write more on that later.
This past week though I started vaping CBD Oil. I spent some time reading about the best ways to supplement with CBD and decided vaping was the best form of delivery for my body.

I had read many testimonies that said they had instant relief from using the CBD oil and I was a bit skeptical but after using it I’m totally on board.

Here is what happened with me.

One thing I struggle with due to inflammation from Rheumatism, Lupus, Thyroid disease is hair pulling.
Thrichillilmania is what it is labeled as. I will pull my hair without realizing it for relief. It’s hard to explain to some people that haven’t experienced true inflammation. But for some reason, there is relief in it. This is one reason I wanted to try vaping. I try to keep my hands busy. What I didn’t expect is that the CBD oil stopped the inflammation right way so I didn’t pull anyway. I didn’t need to keep my hands busy. For the first time since my youngest was born nearly 2 years ago, I stopped pulling my hair. It was an overwhelming comfort. If this had been the only benefit it would have been enough to keep me using CBD oil. But there are other benefits as well.

Another benefit I have received from CBD oil is reduced anxiety. It has helped relax me. Vaping the oil helps it work quickly. It doesn’t take much at all and works within a few minutes. At low levels (1-20mg), CBD makes you feel relaxed, it takes the edge off without making you feel sedated. At higher levels (20mg+) you will feel very relaxed, and possibly sleepy. Each person responds differently, so it’s best to start low and work up in serving size. I started off with a very low dose and noticed the effects right off. I was not sleepy just relaxed.

Using CBD oil has also helped with pain relief. Instead of reaching for over the counter meds, vaping has helped with arthritis pain. I have noticed that when my hands hurt I can vape the oil and have relief within 15 mins. CBD generally can take from a few minutes to a couple of hours to work properly, depending on the dosage, the method of consumption and the symptom you want to combat. Vaping CDB oil is one of the fastest ways to make it act. Remember: Always start with low dosages first, and work yourself up slowly.

What is CBD Oil?

Cannabidiol (CBD) oil is a product that’s derived from cannabis. It’s a type of cannabinoid, which are the chemicals naturally found in marijuana plants. Even though it comes from marijuana plants, CBD doesn’t create a “high” effect or any form of intoxication — that’s caused by another cannabinoid, known as THC.

How CBD Oil Works.

All cannabinoids, including CBD, attach themselves to certain receptors in the body to produce their effects.

The human body produces certain cannabinoids on its own. It has two receptors for cannabinoids, called CB1 receptors and CB2 receptors.

CB1 receptors are found all over the body, but many of them are in the brain.

The CB1 receptors in the brain deal with coordination and movement, pain, emotions, and mood, thinking, appetite, and memories, among others. THC attaches to these receptors.

CB2 receptors are more common in the immune system. They have an effect on inflammation and pain.

It used to be thought that CBD acts on these CB2 receptors, but it appears now that CBD does not act on either receptor directly. Instead, it seems to influence the body to use more of its own cannabinoids.
